Pestana Porto - A Brasileira is the newest 5 star hotel located in downtown Porto, 4 minutes walking distance from the iconic Avenida dos Aliados and 12 minutes away from the Ribeira district. Built in the famous Porto’s A Brasileira Café, the first to serve coffee in a cup on the early 20th century, and recognized with the slogan “ the best coffee comes from A Brasileira". The new Historical has managed to preserve the building’s original architectural features. This luxury hotel, nearby the Sá da Bandeira Theatre and the famous São Bento Train Station, offers a gymnasium, 2 meeting rooms, a restaurant inspired by Portuguese Cuisine, a French Patio a with natural vertical garden and the A Brasileira café which boasts over 115 years history. The 89 rooms and suites are distributed across several floors, each being thematically tied one of the spices or products imported during the Portuguese maritime expansion on the 15th and 16th centuries. They are: ANISE, COFFEE, CINNAMON, TEA, CHOCOLATE and PINK PEPPER.

“Mi opinión es sobre la cafeteria. Estuvimos esta tarde 7 de Diciembre, esperamos mas de 20 min en ser atendidos, cuando nos tomaron nota, casi otros 20 minutos para q nos trajeran 5 consumiciones, mesas que llegaron mas tarde fueron atendidos primero y otras mesas se levantaron y marcharon cansados de esperar. Una consumicion vino mal, 3 cañas tardaron en traerlas casi 10 min más...y como somos honrados ya que no nos traian la nota para pagar entramos nosotros y para rematar nos dan mal la nota con otras consumiciones. Un servicio nefasto, mala organización de los camareros en la terraza y en el interior los camareros de barra parecía que te hacian un favor. Muy mala experiencia para un local de fama.”

“Nice hotel near to São Bento Porto train station.Each floor has a nice theme and decor matching to the theme. Nice room, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and shower. Cafe in ground floor is the nicest place which you can visit frequently however closes by 7:30 pm. Staff is friendly and provide right advise if you plan to visit any near by locations. It would have been good if there was a swimming pool and a bar which is open till mid night. Overall a nice hotel, convenient to most tourist locations by walk. Recommend a stay if you plan to visit Porto”
